When we are hurt, parts of our Heart harden and are closed off to feeling. It took me many years of my own personal work and therapy to get to a place where I could truly open my heart enough to trust God to come into it. He had me right were I was supposed to be. After being saved, I realized that Jesus was there with me all along, I just didn't know it. Boy did I learn first hand that God has a sense of humor. None of us can go through our childhood and families without experiencing some form of pain and sin, despite what the world may tell us. I believe that we all come from a place of brokenness. In order to make treatment affordable, we work with insurance companies, participating churches as well as offer sliding scale fees.
